Commitment Center

Nothing you promised quietly disappears.

Every promise in your mail, in both directions, with an age on it. What you owe, what you are still waiting on, and what has gone quiet too long.

In action

See it working

What you owe and what you are still waiting on, in one ledger, with the age of each one showing.

Core capabilities

What it actually does

  1. 1

    It finds the promise

Detected as your mail is read, in both directions. What you committed to, and what someone committed to you.

You owe. They owe. Same ledger.

  2. 2

    One promise stays one row

The same commitment restated three different ways across a thread does not become three items. Restatements attach to the original as more evidence.

thread : direction : intent, one identity.

  3. 3

It ages, then it tells you

When a thread has been quiet for three days after your reply it moves to the waiting board. Overdue promises surface on their own.

3 quiet days after your reply.

What's different

Why this holds up

Both

Directions, one view

Most tools track your to-do list. This tracks the other half too, which is where the revenue usually stalls.

Likely

Never stated as done

When CevroFlow sees a reply go out it marks the promise as likely completed and says so in those words. Only a human click makes it confirmed. An inference is never presented as a fact.

3 days

Before it counts as waiting

One number, defined in one place, used by the board, the badge and the nudge. No two parts of the product disagree about what waiting means.

Every row names the message it was read out of. If you disagree with a commitment, you can see the sentence that produced it.

The waiting board

Sorted by how long, not how recent

An inbox pushes quiet threads down, which is exactly when they need attention. This does the opposite. Three quiet days after your reply and the thread moves here — one number, defined once in the code and read by the board, the inbox badge and the nudge alike.

    They are waiting on you

One promise, one row

Restating it does not duplicate it

The same commitment gets worded three different ways across a long thread. Each restatement attaches to the original as more evidence rather than becoming a new item, which is the difference between a ledger you trust and a list you stop opening.

  • Identity is the thread, the direction and the intent, so the same promise resolves to the same row every time.
  • A later commitment that genuinely replaces an earlier one is marked as superseding it rather than sitting alongside it.
  • Every row names the messages it was read out of, so you can check the sentence that produced it.
  • A promise marked likely completed says likely, in that word, until a person confirms it.

Worth knowing

What it does not do

Every tool has edges. These are ours, so you find out here rather than in week two.

  • It only knows what was written in email. A promise made on a call or in Slack does not exist here.

  • Likely completed is an inference from a reply going out, not proof the work was done. It stays likely until you confirm it.

  • It does not chase for you. It drafts the follow-up and surfaces the thread, and you decide whether to send.

  • A promise phrased very indirectly may be read as ordinary conversation and missed entirely.

Questions about Commitments and Follow-up

What counts as a commitment?
A stated obligation with an owner. "I will get you the revised numbers by Friday" is one. "We should probably revise the numbers" is not.
Does it track what other people owe me?
Yes, and that is half the point. The board shows what you owe and what you are waiting on side by side, each with how long it has been outstanding.
How does it know a promise was kept?
When it sees a reply go out on that thread it marks the commitment as likely completed. It stays likely, in those words, until a person confirms it. An inference is never shown as a confirmed fact.
Will it chase people automatically?
No. It surfaces the stalled thread and can draft the follow-up, but nothing leaves your account without you clicking Send.
